David Dreilinger
CEO and Managing Director
David A. Dreilinger, CEO and Managing Director of Ducksoup Media Enterprises LLC, is a senior media and entertainment executive, and counsel, with far-reaching experience and a unique grasp of companies large and small, public and private.
In addition to Ducksoup Media Enterprises, Mr. Dreilinger was most recently Chief Operating Officer of Odyssey Impact, Inc., a media and social impact organization, producing Peabody® and other award-winning films and documentaries, and implementing impact campaigns in furtherance of social justice.
Previously, he was President and CEO of Lightworks Enterprises, Inc., an integrated production and distribution company for which he created the strategic plan. Its business operations included:
Prior to that, Mr. Dreilinger was President and CEO of Unapix Entertainment, an American Stock Exchange film, television, music and home entertainment production and distribution company with offices in New York, Los Angeles and Seattle. Mr. Dreilinger was responsible for P&L, planning and operations, Wall Street and investor relations and setting the overall business strategy for the organization. He created new revenue streams and restructured the organization to focus on its core businesses.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Dreilinger had the distinction of being the youngest Vice President and General Counsel of Viacom, during a period of explosive company growth.
He was also Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of Directors of BBC Worldwide Americas, handling the businesses of the BBC throughout the Western Hemisphere.
Additionally, Mr. Dreilinger has held senior executive positions with DLT Entertainment, the producer and distributor of such popular programs as Three's Company and Too Close For Comfort, and The Almi Group, a leading independent producer, distributor and exhibitor of feature films and television programming and owner of the RKO Century Warner Theatre chain (now AMC).
Mr. Dreilinger has been an Adjunct Professor of entertainment law at the Syracuse University College of Law and a judge for the International Emmy Awards. He is also a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. He earned a Masters of Laws in Taxation from the New York University School of Law and is a cum laude graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University.

- Lightworks Program Distribution, distributing thousands of hours of television programming around the globe.
- Lightworks nXt, the company's digital and web operation, producing and acquiring content on YouTube and other platforms.
